Why Did They Decrease The Amount Of Points They Give For Manual Submissions?

3 hours submitting manuals yesterday only got me 24000; What's with this ridiculously low payout?

We have not lowered the point values for manual submissions in nearly 6 months. Also, you have been awarded over 70,000 points in the last 2 days for your submissions. We had to discard many of your submissions as they were linked to the wrong item (you have been notified about each via email).
