Problems Accessing Facebook

i just set my son up with his first fb account. we used my email address, which is the same email that I used for my fb. I thought we could use the same email, but apparently since we set his up, now I can't access my fb. Is there a way to re-access my fb without having to start a new fb account?

thank you for the answer, but I need to clarify and then ask what you think. I like my son using our main email bec it allows us to supervise a little more closely, than him having his own email. Also, I am currently able to access my fb account through my iPad and iphone, bec it just keeps me logged in. so my q. is it would seem easier for me to change my email to my alternate email when I'm on the ipad. do you think I can do that, and is it just on settings or where would I change it? thanks for your help. theresa

The most plausible solution is to have your son set up his own email, change the facebook so it matches that one, and try logging in again.
