Computer Won't Hibernate Properly.

Sometimes, when I try to hibernate my computer, the screen goes black but the fans/lights will not turn off for a long while, and when I start it up again the computer has shut down. On startup, a popup saying "Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown" displays. What could be the cause of this?

Hi  ,

My name is Hardeep and I work for the Social Media and Community Team at Dell.

I would recommend you to update the BIOS of the computer first.
Here is the link to update the BIOS:
http://tinyurl.com/8ybxvjg

Please open this link. Once you open this link, you will see a "Download file" option. Please click on it and select "Run".
It will update the BIOS and the computer will restart after that.
And please observe the computer after that and please let me know if it works.

Glad to assist you.

Thank you.
